ghost in the machine: nijomu on livejournal

I was searching for something I had written and stumbled upon my old Livejournal site. I had totally forgotten about it. I started it in 2006 and abandoned it in 2010. I think I only started it to have access to other Livejournal blogs, because even then I had this site. There are two interesting things on the old Livejournal blog.

One, you can see the original prose draft for “The Betrayal of the Mouse.”

Two, there’s a meandering meditation on literary comics and what the term means and whether or not quality in art is objective. My own writing is very vague, but there are comments on the post by Dylan Horrocks, which are worth a read. Also, Jesse Hamm adds his own thoughts. It’s nice to read his voice again.
