2018 Year in Review

2018 has been a big year for me personally and professionally. It’s also been big artistically.

This year I moved from my home in Santa Cruz. I lived in that house longer than any other in my life.

In 2018, I finished “The Boy”…

Serialized Carnivale on Tabulit…

Worked on a few abstract comics…

And a few poetry comics…

Had “In Water” published on Red Fez…

Started and finished “Museum Piece”…

Discovered Holbein Special Black ink…

Did the little piece “After Reading”…

Started “Lounger” again for a second time, and again dropped it (and have now started it a third time)…

Put together my own art studio in my new home…

This Wasn’t the Plan came out on ComiXology and later Google Play…

And it also came out in print…

The book got a review in Foreword Reviews and a blurb in The New York Review of Books…

And I finished a few notebooks…

 

And of course, as I had time and inspiration, I drew…
