late February gouache

I’ve been playing around with gouache the past few weeks. At the end, I took the leftover gouache and spread it across a page and inked over what resulted. I ended up liking that better than the works I had created more intentionally.

I’ve also been looking at mixing gouache and ink wash. I like the control you get from computer coloring, but the older I get the less I want to spend time on the computer. And there is something relaxing about gouache.
